Spiderette One-Deck Spider squeezes the spirit of Spider into a single fifty-two card deck and a quicker, punchier game. The table looks like Klondike, with seven columns dealt one to seven cards and only the top card of each turned up, but the rules are pure Spider: build down on any card one rank higher regardless of suit, move a group of cards only when it is a single-suit run, and drop anything at all into an empty column. Gather the four complete King-to-Ace runs, one for each suit in play, and they leave the table by themselves. When you are stuck, tap the stock to deal a new card onto every column; the last deal is short, so plan for it. Because there are fewer cards and fewer columns, every choice matters more and a game takes minutes rather than half an hour, which makes it ideal for a break. Choose one suit to relax, two suits for the default challenge or four suits for a sharp test, and every deal comes from a bank of games a solver has verified as winnable. Drag or tap to move cards, use hints and unlimited undo, and enjoy the bouncing-card finale on the slate-grey felt.
How to play
