About 2048 Classic
2048 Classic is the sliding number puzzle that took over the world, served on a warm sunset board with silky smooth motion. Swipe, drag or press an arrow key and every tile glides as far as it can in that direction. When two tiles with the same number collide they merge into one with double the value, popping with a burst of colour and adding the new number to your score. After each move a fresh 2 or 4 appears in an empty square, so every swipe is a small decision about where the board will be in ten moves. Build towards the corner, keep your biggest tile anchored and chain merges together to reach the legendary 2048 tile, then keep going for 4096 and beyond. The classic four by four board is joined by a tight three by three challenge and roomy five and six square boards, each with its own best score. Three undos per game rewind your last move, including the tile that spawned, so you cannot fish for luck. Stuck for an idea? Hint suggests the strongest direction. A daily board gives everyone the same tiles to chase a high score, and your game is always saved.
How to play
Swipe, drag or use the arrow keys (WASD) to slide all tiles. Equal tiles that touch merge into their sum. A new tile appears after every move. Make 2048, then keep going! Undo (Z) — 3 per game, Hint (H), board size in the Menu.
