About Snip Smart
Snip Smart is the brain-teaser edition of the rope-cutting puzzle, set in a breezy green meadow with drifting clouds and fluttering butterflies. A frosted donut hangs from two or three ropes and a cheerful yellow monster waits in the grass, but this time your scissors are limited. Each level gives you only as many snips as the cleverest solution needs, shown by the scissors counter at the top of the screen. Cut the wrong rope first and you may have no snips left to finish the job, so look carefully before you swipe. Often the trick is to leave one long rope attached and let the donut swing straight into the monster's mouth, or to let a golden pin catch it with a fresh rope instead of cutting anything at all. Bouncy drums, fans, bubbles, updrafts and spike bars join the mix as you progress through eighteen levels that grow from simple two-rope warmups to tangled three-rope puzzles. Every level is proven solvable with three stars inside its snip budget, and the restart button is always one tap away when a plan goes wrong. It is calm, clever and perfect for short breaks: study the ropes, find the elegant cut and feel smart when the monster gulps the donut down.
How to play
Swipe to cut ropes, but you only have a few snips per level. Plan which ropes to cut, collect the stars and feed the donut to the monster.
