About Golden Tile Crossword
Golden Tile Crossword is the expert night shift of the word wheel. Under a starry sky and a full moon, sixty large puzzles wait with six-, seven- and eight-letter wheels and grids of up to thirteen interlocking answers. Some empty squares hold a shining gold coin. Uncover those squares with a word you found yourself and the coin flies into your purse; reveal them with a hint and the gold is lost. Each puzzle also asks for a little exploration: find at least three bonus words, real English words that are not part of the crossword, to earn the third star. That makes every star a choice between playing it safe and squeezing the wheel for everything it can spell. Long words are the key, because a single eight-letter answer can cross half the board and open up the rest. Marble tiles, a calm night palette and the soft chime of each solved word keep the atmosphere focused. All puzzles are generated from a filtered everyday-English word list and verified by machine, so every answer and bonus word is guaranteed to be spellable from the letters you are given.
