About Frozen Fakeout
Frozen Fakeout is a troll platformer on sheet ice. The snowy peaks are gorgeous, the frozen lake sparkles, snowflakes drift past and your purple explorer is ready for an easy stroll to the exit door. Then you discover that you cannot stop. On ice you build up speed slowly and keep gliding long after you let go of the keys, and every trap in these twenty-five levels is designed around exactly that. Floors crack and drop into freezing water while you are still sliding toward them, spikes pop up right where your momentum is carrying you, icicles let go from the ceiling just as you skate underneath, frozen walls slide in to shove you off the edge and a lift carries you straight up into a row of hanging spikes unless you hop off in time. You will learn to tap the keys gently, to brake a few blocks early and to use mid-air control to change direction faster than your boots allow. Deaths are instant and so is the respawn, the levels are tiny and hand-made, and each one has its own little joke waiting for you. Clear one without dying to earn all three stars, and enjoy how graceful a fall into icy water can look.
How to play
Arrow keys or A/D to move, Space, W or up to jump. On touch screens use the ◀ ▶ pads and the jump button. Everything here is ice: you speed up slowly and keep sliding after you let go, so brake early and use jumps to change direction quickly. Reach the door, and do not trust the snow.
