About Jungle Strike Commando
Jungle Strike Commando is a side-scrolling run-and-gun across twelve stages of tropical jungle. Your commando sprints to the right with a blaster in hand while the screen scrolls forward and never back, so every patrol has to be dealt with on the move. Orc troopers charge along the ground firing straight shots, gun turrets on supply crates track you through the air, and snipers crouch on ledges waiting for you to step into their line. Aim in eight directions, crouch flat to duck under bullets, jump across the pits above the river and drop through the floating ledges. Supply ships fly past carrying weapon crates: shoot one down and grab the spread gun that fans out five bullets or the machine gun that pours out an endless stream. Every stage ends at an enemy fortress with cannons and a glowing red core, and only when every gun is wrecked does the way forward open. Stages grow longer, the jungle gets more dangerous, and stars reward runs with fewer lost lives, so the true challenge is clearing a stage without being hit once.
How to play
Run with the arrow keys or A and D, aim with up and down, jump with Space and hold J (or click) to fire. Down plus jump drops through ledges. On phones the stick runs and aims, the green button jumps and your blaster fires automatically at anything on screen.
