About Chess Online Duel
Chess Online Duel drops you straight into a live game against another player on a cool grey marble board with gleaming stone pieces. Press quick match and the server pairs you with an opponent in seconds; colours are drawn at random, and every move runs on a clock, so think fast and keep the pressure on. If nobody is free, a strong computer player takes the empty chair so you are never left staring at an empty board. The full rule set is enforced on the server, from castling and en passant to promotion, stalemate, the fifty-move rule and threefold repetition, so every result is fair. There are no hints and no take-backs here, just you, the position and the person across the table. Offer a draw when the game is level, resign when it is lost, and ask for a rematch with one tap. Drop your connection and your seat waits for you: come back within a minute and pick up exactly where you left off. Win games to earn points and climb the leaderboard. Want to warm up first? How to play
Sign in and press Quick match to meet an opponent. Tap a piece and then a highlighted square, or drag it. Each move is timed; when time runs out a move is played for you. Checkmate the enemy king to win. Draw offers and resignations are in the side panel.
