About Nitro Word Highway
Nitro Word Highway is an endless typing chase on a three-lane freeway at sunset. Slow traffic fills the road ahead and every car carries a word on a floating tag. Type the first letter of any word to lock on to that car, finish the word and you blast past it with a puff of nitro while the car swerves out of your way. Leave a word unfinished for too long and the car reaches your bumper: you crash, the screen shakes and you lose one of your three hearts. Your car steers itself toward the most urgent threat, so all of your attention goes into the keyboard. Words on screen never share a first letter, which means you can pick targets freely and plan a few cars ahead, the way the best players do. The longer you survive, the faster the traffic gets, the denser it becomes and the longer the words grow, until the final stretch throws long words like lighthouse and helicopter at you in quick succession. Points depend on word length, how early you clear each car and your combo multiplier, which climbs every four clean overtakes. Chase a high score, watch your words per minute on the speedometer and see how far down the highway you can get.
How to play
Type the word on a car to overtake it. The first letter locks that car; finish the word before it reaches you or you crash and lose a heart. Three crashes end the run.
