About Estate Tycoon: Boomtown Rush
Estate Tycoon: Boomtown Rush squeezes the whole property game into a breezy ten-minute race on a sunny seaside board. Everyone starts rich with 2,500 in the bank, passing START pays a fat 300, and the clock is short: after fifteen rounds the player with the highest net worth, counting cash, streets and buildings, is crowned. Trading is switched off and there is no bail, so the game is all about the dice and quick decisions. Buy aggressively, race to complete a colour set, then pour your money into houses and a hotel before the final bell rings, because buildings count fully towards your worth. Event cards still bring windfalls, repair bills and the odd trip to jail, where you wait for doubles or sit out your two turns. It is a perfect first game for younger players or anyone learning how rents, sets and building work: the computer rival starts on Easy, the board is bright and readable, and the hint button suggests the smartest move whenever you are unsure. Want more company? Add up to three rivals and raise the difficulty to Medium or Hard from the new game panel.
How to play
Roll (Space) and move; buy the streets you land on or pass. Complete a colour set, then tap one of its streets and press Build for houses and a hotel. After 15 rounds the highest net worth wins. Hint (H) suggests a move.
