About Downtown Dash
Downtown Dash drops you onto a sunny three-lane avenue with a grumpy traffic cop right on your heels. Headphones on, sneakers laced, you sprint between pastel apartment blocks, café parasols and street lamps while the city throws everything it has at you. Swerve around parked taxis and vans, leap the striped construction barriers, and slide under the hazard boards that hang at head height. Delivery trucks and fire engines are too tall to jump, but a wooden ramp in front of a convoy lets you climb up and race along the rooftops, collecting the coins lined up on top. Coins also trace arcs over every barrier, so a perfectly timed jump fills your counter. Grab the red magnet to pull in every coin nearby, the golden star for double points, or the spring for super jumps that clear whole rows of cars. The street gets faster the longer you survive. Clip the side of a car and you stumble; the cop closes in, and a second stumble while he is close means you are caught. A head-on crash ends the run instantly, so keep your eyes on the road ahead.
How to play
Swipe left/right (or ← → / A D) to change lanes, swipe up (↑, W or Space) to jump and swipe down (↓ or S) to roll under boards. Ramps lead onto truck roofs; car roofs can be jumped onto.
